totabout

Coming soon ยท the go-anywhere toddler seat

A seat at every table.

Totabout is the folding toddler seat we're building: it straps onto a dining chair and packs into its own shoulder bag. Restaurants, Grandma's, the campsite, the beach: your little one sits up with everybody else.

Free to join. Nothing to pay. We'll email you when it's ready.

How it will work

Three moves. That's it.

One seat for home, the road and everywhere in between.

1Pop it open

Unfold the frame. We're also designing it to stand on the floor, the grass or the sand.

2Strap it on

Straps hold it to a dining chair, and the tray goes on in front for snack time.

3Pack it up

It folds flat and slides into a bag you carry on your shoulder.

Better in the details

We read the reviews. Then we made a list.

We went through what parents say about today's travel seats. These fixes are on our list for the factory, and they get locked after samples and lab testing.

A tray that stays put

A tray that locks on both sides and comes off with one hand.

Built to last

Double-stitched seams and capped frame ends, so nothing pokes through.

Cover off in a minute

A seat cover that comes off fast for the laundry, not a wrestling match.

Shade for sunny days

A sun canopy that packs into the same bag.

Room to grow

A roomier seat and more space under the tray for bigger toddlers.

Fits more chairs

Longer straps, aimed at smaller cafe chairs too.

Where it goes

Anywhere you sit down to eat.

  • Restaurants
  • Grandma's house
  • Travel
  • Camping
  • The beach
  • Picnics
Testing comes first

Our promise

Before we sell a single one, Totabout will be tested by an independent lab accepted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, to every federal safety rule that applies to it, including the federal booster seat standard.

Get an email when Totabout is ready, with the price, before anyone else hears about it.

Free to join. Nothing to pay. You can tell us what you'd want your seat to do better, and we'll read every answer.

Where would you use it most?

We only email you about Totabout, and you can ask us to remove you any time. For grown-ups only, not for kids under 13. Privacy

Questions

Good questions

When can I get one?

We're choosing our factory and lining up lab testing now. People on the list hear first, with a date, as soon as we have one.

How much will it cost?

We'll email the price to the list before anyone pays anything. Joining the list is free.

What ages is it for?

It's being designed for babies who can sit up on their own, through the toddler years. The exact age and weight limits will be printed on every seat after lab testing.

Will it fit my chairs?

It's being designed to strap onto standard dining chairs. We'll share a simple fit guide with the final details.

Is it safe?

Safety comes first. Before we sell a single one, Totabout will be tested by an independent lab accepted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, to every federal safety rule that applies to it, including the federal booster seat standard.
